LAS VEGAS – To kick off its 60th anniversary, Nevada State Bank, a sponsor of the 21st annual 98.5 KLUC Toy Drive, is collecting new, unwrapped children’s toys and bikes through Dec. 4 at its Southern Nevada branches.
Toys and bikes can be dropped off at any Nevada State Bank branch location in the Las Vegas Valley and will be delivered to KLUC’s Chet Buchanan on Dec. 9 in celebration of Nevada State Bank’s 60th anniversary. The Nevada banking institution opened its doors to the public on Dec. 9, 1959 and will be celebrating six decades of service to the community throughout the year.
Nevada State Bank is excited to support this year’s Toy Drive goal to beat 2018’s record-shattering success. Records included 8,757 bikes, 37 toy-filled trucks and $505,488 in cash and gift cards.
“Our colleagues love to share in the holiday spirit and promote the KLUC Toy Drive,” said Sandi Milton, senior vice president of marketing communications for Nevada State Bank. “Each year, more and more toys are collected, which truly speaks to the dedication of the community. Given that it’s the bank’s 60th anniversary, we are even more excited to give back to our community this year and we appreciate all that Southern Nevada has done for us.”
With more than 30 branches throughout the valley, Nevada State Bank hopes to make donating easy for everyone.
