Nevada Housing Coalition to Host Brunch and Learn Program on Thursday, November 7 in Reno
What: What’s on deck for affordable housing in northern Nevada? Join the Nevada Housing Coalition as we discuss federal and state policies that would impact the ability to produce more affordable housing opportunities for Nevadans. This session will include an overview of 2019 Out Of Reach data from the National Low Income Housing Coalition, then a deeper dive into what’s happening at a federal level to help in affordable housing development efforts – and what you can do when talking to your congresspeople. Then, hear from Nevada Housing Division Director Steve Aichroth on what’s next with the state housing tax credit program – how it’s shaping up and what we can expect as a housing community. We’ll then wrap up the session with a Q&A discussion, led by Bill Brewer, president of Nevada Housing Coalition.
The event is brought to the community in partnership with the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco.
