Boulder City, Nev. – StoryBook Homes is proud to announce the opening of Boulder Hills Estates’ second phase, offering homebuyers a selection of new homesites to choose from in Boulder City’s first large-scale housing development in 30 years.
Located near Bristlecone Drive and Adams Boulevard and adjacent to the Boulder Creek Golf Course, Boulder Hills Estates provides homebuyers the option of one and two-story homes, ranging from three to seven bedrooms, two or three-car garages, and the opportunity to add an optional garage for a recreational vehicle. Boulder Hills Estates offers five floor plans ranging in size from 1,935 square feet to 3,491 square feet, each offering options for customization to suit individual or family needs.
The second phase of this popular community consists of 45 homesites. Many are located in the center of the development, which based on customer inquiries are expected to be in high demand. Included in the development’s second phase is a spacious 34,000 square foot open space/community park.
“We are thrilled with the response we’ve had to Boulder Hills Estates from Boulder City residents and beyond,” said Wayne Laska, Principal, StoryBook Homes. “As the only developer in three decades to be selected for a home development project of this size in Boulder City, we intended to create a community of homes that reflect the high standards and livability of the area. To see this project embraced by buyers in such a short time is extremely gratifying,” he said.
Boulder Hills Estates homes include many upgraded features and furnishings which are inclusive in the base price, including granite counters, 42” upper cabinets, breakfast island in the kitchen, USB outlet in the kitchen and owner’s bedroom, pre-wired ceiling fans, LED lighting, and TV outlets in all bedrooms, den, loft and bonus room.
As part of its agreement with Boulder City, StoryBook Homes purchased the land for the second phase of the development in June 2019 for the amount of $3 million. Those funds go directly to Boulder City and are part of the total $9.1 million that StoryBook Homes will spend to purchase land for the entire development. When all three phases are complete, Boulder Hills Estates will include a total of 127 homes on roughly 30 acres.
In addition to revenue from land purchases, each new StoryBook Home sold in Boulder Hills Estates provides $1,000 for Boulder City Parks, and $900 for Clark County transportation infrastructure, as well as additional taxes and fees collected by Boulder City.
