Goodwill of Southern Nevada (Goodwill) is pleased to announce the grand opening of its newest retail store and attended donation center (ADC) in Las Vegas. The new location will be staffed with 40 Goodwill employees ready to assist shoppers with their purchases and accept donations of clothing, housewares, electronics, and other items from the public. These items will generate funds that translate to job training programs and career center services for people in the Southern Nevada community.
The retail store and ADC are located at 3141 North Rainbow Boulevard in Las Vegas, NV. The new location is scheduled to open on Friday, November 15, 2019, with the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at 8:50 a.m. The first 100 customers at the Grand Opening Celebration will receive a complimentary $5 Goodwill Gift Card to shop with beginning at 9:00 a.m. When consumers make a donation of goods between November 15 and 17, they will receive a coupon for $5 off their next purchase of $25 or more at the new Cheyenne Commons Goodwill retail store.
“This retail store and attended donation center will create 40 new jobs as well as a convenient way for people to support their community; be it through donating, shopping or volunteering,” said Rick Neal, President, and CEO. “We are proud to open this new location and look forward to continued success and strategic, sustainable growth as we move forward.”
Goodwill relies on the support of the community it serves to donate gently used clothing and household goods to sell in its retail stores. Donations are accepted at all retail stores during store hours, as well as the attended donation centers throughout Southern Nevada.
