Goodwill of Southern Nevada (Goodwill) is pleased to announce their recent recognition in the Las Vegas Review-Journal’s Best of Las Vegas Awards. Goodwill’s Deja Blue Boutique was the recipient of the gold title for “Best Boutique”. In addition, Goodwill of Southern Nevada received the silver titles for “Best Nonprofit” and “Best Thrift Store”.
“We are honored to have received three awards in this year’s Best of Las Vegas program,” said Rick Neal, President, and CEO. “We appreciate all of the participants who voted for us and helped us garner this recognition; however, I see this as a ‘community’ award, as it is the hard work of our team members and the community’s continued support of our nonprofit mission to help people find meaningful employment that really drives our success. We are very proud of these accomplishments and are committed to increasing our positive impact across the valley.”
This year is the first year that Goodwill of Southern Nevada has been awarded the gold title of “Best Boutique” and silver title for “Best Nonprofit”. This is the second consecutive year Goodwill has received the silver title for “Best Thrift Store”.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal has been conducting the Best of Las Vegas awards since 1981, making 2019 its 38th edition. This year, more than 650,000 voters participated and over 9.5 million votes were cast to select 658 companies for 948 awards in 316 categories.
