LAS VEGAS – Too often great teachers go unrecognized for the hard work and dedication they pour into the classroom. De Castroverde Law Group aims to give credit where it is due through its twice-yearly teacher appreciation award.
Starting now through Nov. 8, the firm is accepting nominations from current students, former students and parents for its Fall 2019 Teacher Appreciation Award, given to teachers who have had an enormous impact on their students, leaving an impression that will last, or has lasted, way beyond graduation.
“We know the contributions Southern Nevada teachers make out of their own pockets and how important it is for local businesses to help.” said firm partner Alex De Castroverde. “Teachers educate our youth who in turn become the leaders of the next generation, and need assistance in creating a positive learning environment.”
Prizes include:
• Grand prize: $750 for classroom supplies, plus a $250 Amazon gift card and a one-year membership to Discovery Children’s Museum.
• Runner Up: $500 for classroom supplies, plus a $200 Amazon gift card and a family four pack of tickets to Discovery Children’s Museum.
• Honorable mention: $250 in classroom supplies, plus a $100 Amazon gift card and a family four pack of tickets to Discovery Children’s Museum.
