
Las Vegas, NV – The Urban Chamber of Commerce (“UCC”) is hosting its annual Green Tie Awards Saturday, November 2, 2019, at The Mirage Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, NV. In the spirit of their motto, “Build Businesses to Build Our Community,” the Green Tie Awards will once again honor and celebrate community leaders at the forefront of local business development and job creation.
Each year, the UCC champions small businesses, aiding in their growth across all sizes and sectors in the Las Vegas Valley. Annually, Green Tie Awards puts the spotlight on many entrepreneurs, companies and organizations that help make our community a vibrant and thriving place to do business.
This year’s Distinguished Award Honorees are:

Recognized and rewarded for their success, innovation, and hard work, the UCC’s Green Tie Awards will honor the above businesses, as well as, the following award recipients below to commend their vision, determination, perseverance, and dedication to building strong communities.

Small Business of the Year – Cosmetology Institute of Las Vegas

The proceeds raised from the Green Tie Awards are vital in ensuring support to business programs, along with Silent Auction fundraising allocated to support the Hannah Brown Community Development Corporation Scholarship Fund. Last year, through the gracious support of our community and business partners, we were able to award twenty scholarships to students across the valley, and the UCC hopes to generate a comparable degree of success this year.
