HENDERSON, NV – The Nevada Economic Development Authority announced that Lieutenant Governor Kate Marshall is slated to speak at the Nevada Economic Development Conference on August 26. Lieutenant Governor Marshall will welcome conference guests to kick-off conference activities at the President’s Reception.
In the past, serving as Nevada State Treasurer, Lieutenant Governor Marshall has worked to grow the economy of Nevada. Lieutenant Governor Marshall has been instrumental in decision-making on how to creatively increase economic development for businesses in Nevada. Accompanying Lieutenant Governor Marshall will be Kristopher Sanchez, interim Executive Director of GOED, to give the welcoming remarks for the President’s Reception.
“Nevada’s economy is ever-changing. This conference will serve to give business-leaders in the community an idea of where Nevada’s economy and workforce is heading,” said Lieutenant Governor Kate Marshall. “The Nevada Economic Development Conference goes beyond well-known Nevada industries and addresses every profitable industry Nevada has to offer and how we plan to go forward and keep up with the changes in each industry.”
The Nevada Economic Development Conference runs from August 26-28 at the Green Valley Casino and Resort in Henderson, Nev. Conference attendees can listen in on several keynotes and learn about what Nevada’s economic decision-makers have in store for the state’s future development and growth. Among a line up of more than two dozen speakers, attendees will also have the opportunity to listen to Raiders Team President Marc Badain and the Vegas Golden Knights President Kerry Bubolz as they talk about what the future of professional sports in Southern Nevada looks like.
