The first resident of the 141-acre master planned community, Rancharrah, moved into his home earlier this month. Roger Reinke, a retired engineer and electronics company owner, has been dubbed the Mayor of Rancharrah, and resides in the first custom home to be completed in the luxury community.
“The legacy of the iconic Rancharrah property will live on in this exceptional master-planned community,” said Chip Bowlby, President and CEO of Reno Land Inc. “We are eager to see the community at Rancharrah begin to form as homes and neighborhoods reach completion.”
All of the initial 44 custom home lots have been sold, at prices ranging from $400,000 to $700,000. Varying from one-quarter to one-half acre, Rancharrah’s most exclusive custom homesites reside in the Lariat and Riata communities within the gates of Rancharrah.
Latigo at Rancharrah by Toll Brothers has released 89 luxury homesites. Toll Brothers, the nation’s leading builder of luxury homes, offers five single-family home floor plans in the Latigo residences at Rancharrah. About Rancharrah: Reno’s Camelot is Rancharrah — a 141-acre property in the heart of south Reno that embodies the city’s history and future. Reno Land Inc. purchased the ranch in 2015 from John Harrah, whose family owned the bulk of the property for nearly six decades. The family patriarch, Bill Harrah, founder of Harrah’s Casino, brought Rancharrah to life. The master-planned community is now under development to include seven residential villages with 611 residential units along with commercial and retail opportunities. The gated residential community at Rancharrah will be composed of homesites, condos, and townhomes with access to the world class Club at Rancharrah, providing a fitness center, spa, resort pools, kids camp, wine rooms, great lawns, restaurant/bar, and family grille. At the entrance to Rancharrah at the corner of Neil and Kietzke a retail village will also add lifestyle to include additional restaurants, shopping and grocery.
