LAS VEGAS, NV – Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada is proud to announce Lynn Marie Stewart has joined their board of directors.
Stewart serves as a local Field Sales Leader for Allstate Insurance. She joined the company in 2016 and is responsible for recruiting new Allstate agency owners and supporting the success of their businesses. Through Allstate and The Allstate Foundation, Stewart volunteers her time and dedicates herself to empowering youth and helping end domestic violence.
Prior to joining Allstate, Stewart was the Manager of Community Engagement for United Way of Southern Nevada. She was responsible for recruiting, selecting and on-boarding volunteers to the organization and served as a conduit for individual and corporate relationship building, which resulted in donations that helped further the organization’s mission and outreach. Stewart enjoys the many facets of consulting and uses her experiences as an NFL cheerleader, fundraiser, pageant finalist and MBA graduate to motivate, impact and encourage others to perform at the top of their potential with persistence, poise and passion.
“It’s a pleasure to welcome Lynn Stewart to Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada board of directors. Her excellent skills in development, fundraising and volunteer engagement will be an added asset
to JASN.” said Michelle Jackson, president of Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada.
Originally from Southern California, Stewart has lived in Las Vegas and has been a part of the nonprofit community for over 20 years. She completed her undergrad at the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities and holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
“Education, financial literacy and entrepreneurship is a shared passion in my family. It is a privilege to use my platform to promote and support and equip students with the education they need to become leaders of tomorrow. I believe in the programs and opportunities provided by JASN and am very excited to be a part of furthering this great charge,” said Stewart.
