ENTREPRENEURS ASSEMBLY ELECTS NEW BOARD CHAIR
New Board Members Appointed To Help Grow EA
Reno, Nevada—The Entrepreneurs Assembly (EA) has elected Liz Heiman as its board chair for the 2019-2020 fiscal year. EA is the preeminent entrepreneur support and mentoring organization in Nevada, helping entrepreneurs build and grow their dreams into functioning and active businesses.
Heiman is a sales and strategy expert and is the Chief Strategy Officer at Alice Heiman, LLC—a world leading provider of sales training and coaching. “I’m so excited to take over leadership of this outstanding organization,” said Heiman. “EA’s mission of helping and mentoring entrepreneurs is so important to provide business owners the tools to grow their businesses.”
Founded as a Nevada 501(c)(3) not for profit entity, EA has worked with over 1,000 start-ups and small businesses as well as entrepreneurs through mentoring and workshops. EA currently has chapters in Reno, Carson City, Las Vegas, Incline Village, South Lake Tahoe, California and has plans for other Nevada cities and growth into additional states. EA mentors have helped hundreds of entrepreneurs launch their businesses.
Each chapter runs a monthly EA Startup Incubator where business owners can meet with mentors in a myriad of areas to help guide them through the incubation process.
New board members joining EA are: Ira M. Gostin, Zoie Scurfield, Rusty Shaffer, Meg Shea and Danell Wilson-Perlman. Existing board members are: Dave Croasdell, Doug Howe (secretary), Brad Jones, Rod Jorgensen (treasurer), Kellen Kautzman, Jeff Sheldon and Matt Westfield (vice president and founder). Karol Hines is the executive director.
