Thrifting experts, Shana Dahan and Edwina Registre, of Storage Wars on A&E, launched a new YouTube series, “This Is Who I Am,” on June 6.
The series features women and men in the Las Vegas area who have been chosen to receive a closet consultation, a thrifting trip and overall closet makeover.
Las Vegas resident Ruth Furman was the first guest featured on the series.
Dahan and Registre met Furman at her home and evaluated her personal style by looking at clothing items in her closet.
With the help of experienced second hand shoppers and a budget of $100, this series provides life-changing fashion rehab to individuals who have submitted a video and write up of why they are in desperate need of a closet rehab and style makeover.
The women found key pieces in the thrift store missing from Furman’s wardrobe and created a fun atmosphere for Furman to try-on new and unique outfits she would not normally purchase.
Over the next 90 days, Furman documented her new wardrobe and style sharing all of her tips and tricks of thrifting from ThriftersAnonymous, Shana & Edwina.
“This Is Who I Am” episode one, Breaking Ruth’s Rules, showcases Furman’s thrifting journey: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HpZubycQLN0.
