LAS VEGAS – The Foundation Assisting Seniors hosted their 16th annual spring charity golf tournament on May 27 at Revere Golf Course at 2600 Hampton Road in Henderson.
“We continue to be excited by the turnout of this annual event,” said Carol Chapman, president of The Foundation Assisting Seniors. “We had 262 golfers of all ages and abilities participate in the tournament, and their support of Vegas valley seniors is vital to our organization. We are thrilled to be able to serve even more seniors in the coming year.”
The event included a four-person scramble format. In addition to 18 holes of golf, participating players received beverages and enjoyed various contests and raffles throughout the day. The fun-filled day of philanthropy concluded with an awards luncheon.

About The Foundation Assisting Seniors:
Established in 2002 by Favil West and Chuck Davis, the Foundation Assisting Seniors (FAS) began with a mission to assist the senior community in times of illness, recovery, confinement at home, coping with loss of a loved one, and other senior challenges, as well as to provide assistance with everyday tasks such as household maintenance. Each year, the foundation provides durable medical equipment and funding to our partners in the Solera and Aliante communities and the Nevada US Chinese Cultural Association. The equipment is also available to all seniors (50+) living in the Las Vegas valley. Since 2002, FAS has responded to over 240,000 requests for assistance services, and the HOWRU© program has saved seven lives. FAS is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public benefit corporation.
