City National Provides Nevada HAND with $7,500
in Support of its Resident Services Program
LAS VEGAS, NV – City National Bank, Nevada’s Premier Private and Business Bank®, recently awarded Nevada HAND with a grant totaling $7,500 in support of its Resident Services program. Last week bank executives met with Nevada HAND’s senior leadership and toured one of their properties to see firsthand how the bank’s grant will help residents living in over 34 affordable housing communities Nevada HAND owns and operates throughout southern Nevada.
City National’s monetary support to Nevada HAND will provide wraparound services that will enable low-income seniors and working families to improve their lives by creating opportunities to improve health and well-being, build financial stability, increase access to healthy foods, encourage community engagement, and enrich education and employment skills. Through the Resident Services program, Nevada HAND brings essential resources and community connections directly on the properties where low-income residents live.
“We are very proud to provide Nevada HAND with some of the financial support they for various programs that help low-income seniors and families with a hand up,” said Paul Stowell, Nevada regional executive for City National. “Nevada HAND is providing the majority of the affordable housing needs in our community, and by 2025 they will more than double the amount of inventory they currently have in southern Nevada.”
