LAS VEGAS – Bank of Nevada earns second place ranking in the 2019 Small Business Administration (SBA) Lender of the Year from the Nevada District office of the SBA. The award, presented during the SBA’s Nevada Small Business Gala, recognizes Bank of Nevada’s continued commitment to small business owners and their ability to access financing capital.
The SBA selects Lenders of the Year based on a combination of factors including the total number of loans and average loan size. Bank of Nevada assisted in funding 48 SBA loans for Nevada business owners averaging $497,000 each.
“Small businesses are an important sector in Nevada’s growing economy, and important to Bank of Nevada as well,” said John Guedry, CEO, Bank of Nevada. “We are proud to work with the SBA and small businesses to provide the essential capital that helps companies expand, create new jobs, and grow Nevada’s economic base.”
Loans obtained through the SBA typically offer increased flexibility to business owners through lower down payments and longer repayment terms when compared to conventional loans.
Previously, Bank of Nevada has received the following awards from the SBA:
2018 – Top 504 Third Party Lender of the Year – 1st Place
Top Statewide Lender by Number of Loans – 3rd Place
2017 – Top 504 Third Party Lender of the Year by Number of Loans – 1st Place
