What is Co-Working?
Co-working spaces are essentially shared workspaces. Many offer affordable office space for those looking to escape the isolation of a home office and offer more data security and less noise than a coffee shop.
According to Forbes, there are 53 million freelancers in the US. By the time we reach 2020, 50% of the American workforce will consist of freelancers (both full and part-time). This has given rise to more co-working spaces across the country.
What is Bottega Exchange?
Bottega Exchange is a local Las Vegas home grown company and female owned co-working space joining this growing trend. With over 7500 square feet of mixed use space—from private offices to open spaces that provide a coffee shop feel, as well as a podcast room and special event areas, Bottega Exchange offers a one-stop shop for those looking to build their brand and expand their network. Memberships start at $125 a month and private offices start at $800 a month with no long term leases required. https://www.bottegaexchange.com/
About the Co-Owners:
Kelli Despain—Kelli is the small business owner of Moxie Ink Designs, a curated graphic design company. She is a jack of all trades and has spent time honing an aesthetic that is unique and addresses clients needs. She is an expert in crafting a brand and logo for corporate clients as well as ensuring every detail is attended to for your special event designs. Her client list includes, House Seats, Nevada Conservation League, Dapper Companies, and Get Outdoors Nevada.
Megan Jones—Megan owns MKJ Consulting and is a partner with Hilltop Public Solutions, a national public affairs and political advocacy group. She has been a small business owner in Nevada for over a decade. She helped lead the electoral efforts that resulted in the first female majority state legislature in the country right here at home in Nevada.
Kelli and Megan are lifelong friends and busy working moms who started Bottega Exchange because they struggled to find a workspace that was close to home, school and community that also offered reasonable lease agreements and collaborative space. So they decided to DO IT THEMSELVES! They believe that women deserve to work in a space that fosters community above competition. Together, we believe that the success of one benefits the success of the group.
