What was the toughest lesson you’ve learned in your career?
Be humble. Let others take the credit.
Who in your life has been instrumental to your success?
My father and his mentorship.
What would be the title of your autobiography?
“Re-Invention”
What is an issue currently facing your industry that an outside observer might not be aware of?
Scarcity of young talent to backfill the bench. Commercial real estate is one of the most exciting areas to break into for young people, and experienced commercial real estate professionals, like myself, want to give back in this way. We want to help the younger generation up the ranks and pass on what we’ve learned, and keep us current by taking advantage of what they can offer.
What is the best moment of your career?
Right now. I love working in real estate with people that I can help. When I can help a client achieve their goals, we all win.
What career advice would you give your teenage self?
Have confidence to try anything and everything, and have the courage, every single day to learn something new.
What do you want your legacy to be?
Helping people, especially women, in the simplest of ways, behind the scenes. We all want to be the best version of ourselves, personally and professionally and if we genuinely help each other without wanting to receive credit for every deed, it will become second nature to pay it forward continually.
If you had to live in another country for a year, which would you choose and why?
Australia – I’ve never been and always wanted to go. My favorite manager many years ago was from there, and the people seem wonderful and the country just gorgeous.
What is your motto?
I’m for good, not evil. I’m here to help, never hurt.
What is your favorite thing about living in Nevada?
The entrepreneurial spirit of our people and can-do mentality of our business community and government officials.
