Las Vegas HEALS and Nevada Donor Network have partnered up for the next Las Vegas HEALS Healthcare Happy Hour to celebrate Donate Life Month. Guests will be able to tour Nevada Donor Network’s campus and learn more about its lifesaving and healing mission.
The event will take place on Thursday, April 25 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at 2055 E. Sahara Avenue, Las Vegas. The event will include hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, and networking with professionals. Event registration is complimentary for all Las Vegas HEALS members by emailing their RSVP to Admin@LasVegasHEALS.org or calling 702.952.2477. Non-members who are interested in attending the Healthcare Happy Hour event for the first time may also register for free as a guest.
Founded in 1987, Nevada Donor Network’s core purpose is to provide hope, strength and life to more than 2 million people in the state of Nevada and thousands of potential transplant recipients across the country. In honor of National Donate Life Month, guests are encouraged to wear blue and green that night to show support for the everyday heroes who make the gift of life possible through organ, eye and tissue donation.
“Nevada Donor Network looks forward to hosting the next Healthcare Happy Hour and sharing an inside look at our lifesaving and healing mission,” said Joe Ferreira, President and CEO of Nevada Donor Network. “As the proud world leader in the number of lifesaving organs recovered and transplanted per capita served, we invite our southern Nevada healthcare community to join us in celebrating the gifts of hope, strength, and life made possible through donation and transplantation. With the tremendous support of our hospital partners and community champions, we have the privilege of honoring the wishes of a record number of heroic donors and their courageous families; each one whose legacy lives on forever. We hope you will join us for this very special Donate Life Month Healthcare Happy Hour to celebrate the everyday heroes who make life happen.”
“The next Healthcare Happy Hour at Nevada Donor Network will be an exceptional one, as we will be celebrating Donate Life Month,” said Doug Geinzer, chief executive officer of Las Vegas HEALS. “We are hoping that guests will attend the event wearing blue and green as a way to support this important organization in the state of Nevada.”
