LAS VEGAS — The Foundation Assisting Seniors (FAS) will host their 16th annual spring charity golf tournament on May 27 at Revere Golf Course at 2600 Hampton Road in Henderson. All proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Foundation and its ongoing programs and services that assist seniors throughout the valley and beyond.
The tournament will begin with a shotgun start at 7:30 a.m. with a four-person scramble format. Players are encouraged to sign up as individuals or as a team at a cost of $100 per player. In addition to 18 holes of golf, participating players will receive free beverages and can enjoy various contests and raffles throughout the event. The fun-filled day of philanthropy will conclude with a complimentary award luncheon.
“We are looking forward to a great day of golf and, more importantly, raising crucial funds for the Foundation to provide a variety of free resources and services to Nevada seniors in need,” said Carol Chapman, president of FAS. “This annual event is so important for the work we do and we thank everyone involved for their support.”

About The Foundation Assisting Seniors:
Established in 2002 by Favil West and Chuck Davis, the Foundation Assisting Seniors (FAS) began with a mission to assist the senior community in times of illness, recovery, confinement at home, coping with loss of a loved one, and other senior challenges, as well as to provide assistance with everyday tasks such as household maintenance. Each year, the foundation provides durable medical equipment and funding to our partners in the Solera and Aliante communities and the Nevada US Chinese Cultural Association. The equipment is also available to all seniors (50+) living in the Las Vegas valley. Since 2002, FAS has responded to over 200,000 requests for assistance services, and the HOWRU© program has saved seven lives. FAS is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public benefit corporation.
