LAS VEGAS – American Lung Association in Nevada is proud to announce nurse turned healthcare executive Linn Billingsley will be honored with the 2019 Legacy Award at the nonprofit’s signature breathe FASHION Show and Dinner on Saturday, April 6, 2019, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., at Red Rock Resort, Casino and Spa.
Billingsley, vice president of regional operations for Kindred Healthcare, has served on the national, regional and local boards for the American Lung Association since 2003.
The Legacy Award is the local nonprofit’s highest recognition.
“Linn is a force of nature,” said Kristina Crawford, American Lung Association in Nevada executive director. “As a founding board member of our local chapter, her longtime support of our mission to prevent lung disease and promote lung health has impacted countless lives. It is truly our honor to celebrate Linn and all of her accomplishments.”
This year’s theme is “An Evening Under the Desert Sky” and will feature fashions from STITCHED Lifestyle and Ermelinda Manos Couture Designs. Grammy award-winning singer, songwriter and Broadway star Gary Morris will provide the evening’s live entertainment (sponsored by Staheli Laundry), and Las Vegas’ favorite personality Chet Buchanan will once again serve as auctioneer and emcee.
All guests will enjoy a spectacular fashion show, as well as a hosted cocktail reception, three-course dinner, and dessert with wine pairings.
