On Friday, March 22, 2019 the Southern Nevada Congressional Delegation presented a Veterans Job and Resource Fair at Veterans Village 2.
Coordinated by Hunter Cain, District Representative for Congresswoman Dina Titus, this event allowed veterans the opportunity to learn about and connect with resources available to them within the community. Available resources included: Healthcare, Veterans’ Claims Services and Education Benefits, Job Placement/Employment Services, Housing and Social Services. Attendees will also have access to the Veterans Village/Three Square Food Pantry, hygiene supplies, and health and beauty services.
“We must do everything we can to support our heroes after they integrate into civilian life, we’re honored to partner with the Southern Nevada Congressional Delegation and host this event to facilitate this veterans outreach for community engagement,” said Dr. Arnold Stalk, PhD, Founder, Veterans Village Las Vegas.
Also available at the event were representatives of programs such as Salvation Army Veteran Services, NDVS (Nevada Department of Veteran Services), Veterans Administration Mobile Vet Center, Nevada Health Link, Nevada Senior Services and more.
