WHAT:
YurView, the Cox owned television network with local origination content, is premiering a new weekly series called “Driven.” The eight-week, 30-minute show will entertain and inform through segments that capture the imagination of car enthusiasts. Reporting are Tom Gregory, an eight-time Emmy Award-winning host and Dick DeBruhl, Motor Trend Network contributor.
Each of Driven’s eight episodes will consist of the following five auto centric segments: “High Octane” (hitting the track and exploring fast vehicles), “Great American Drives” (the scenic roads that move Americans), “Road Life” (stories from the road and people that drive them), “Tech ‘N Toys” (innovations driving the industry) and “Yo! Adrian” (ask a mechanic, get an answer).
Driven will kick-off with a Great America Drives segment that features the Las Vegas Bone Shakers Car Club tooling along The Strip, a circa four-mile stretch of Las Vegas Blvd. with its high concentration of resorts, casinos and lights. Other scheduled scenic drives include Ocean Drive in Newport, R.I., Pacific Coast Highway in Calif., Highway 170 in Ariz., Skyline Drive in Va., U.S. 90 in La., Seven Mile Bridge in Fla. and The Mother Road, historic Route 66.

Airdates for the Driven segment with the scenic cruise along The Strip are Sunday, Feb. 10 at 5:30 p.m. PT with rebroadcasts on Feb. 13 at 7 p.m. PT and Feb. 16 at noon PT on Cox cable channel 14 and 1014.
