What: The newly formed Nevada Housing Coalition is hosting two town hall events to share information about housing-related issues and legislation that will be considered during the 2019 80th Legislative Session (e.g., state affordable housing tax credit). The Nevada Housing Coalition will also share information about the newly formed organization and its mission.
Date/Time: Wednesday, Feb. 20; 8-10:30 a.m.
Location: Moana Nursery Landscape & Design Center (building adjacent to nursery, use second gate), 1100 W. Moana Lane, Reno, NV 89509
Who: Nevada Housing Coalition Board members and subject matter experts in the Nevada housing community will present information about the housing landscape and housing-related legislative proposals.
Why: Providing information and education are key pillars of the Nevada Housing Coalition, and the townhall event is the first of many opportunities for members and potential members to hear from industry experts on housing related issues and potential policy solutions.

The Coalition is currently seeking new members who also share an interest in improving Nevada’s affordable housing landscape.
