The Nevada Population Health Conference 2018, sponsored by UnitedHealthcare, Holland & Hart, and other local community partners, educates local professionals and students on population health concepts and training on medical legal partnerships. This year’s event will be held on Friday, November 30, at the UnitedHealthcare Campus – Las Vegas, from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The conference will explore innovative population health programs by the private and public sectors to improve the health of Nevadans. Population health focuses on groups of individuals and considers the many elements that, in addition to healthcare services, contribute to a person’s health.
These elements include:
- Public health programs
- Social factors (income, education, employment, social support, and culture)
- The physical environment (urban design, clean air, and water)
- Individual behavior
For more information about the program and registration details, please visit: https://www.hollandhart.com/nevada-population-health-2018.
The conference is open to all professionals and students. There is no cost for students with valid student IDs. Registration funds vary if you are attending with CLE/CME or without. Funds raised for registration will be donated to the Nevada Bar Foundation to help support Medical Legal Partnerships in Nevada and includes box lunches, provided by UnitedHealthcare.
