Dozens of members of the Greater Las Vegas Association of REALTORS (GLVAR) are volunteering to help children at two local schools on Oct. 18 as part of their REALTORS in the Classroom program in partnership with Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada.
REALTORS in the Classroom is an annual community service program organized and sponsored by GLVAR to support children and their education. Volunteer REALTORS will spend the day teaming up with teachers to teach their class for the day, also sharing their experiences and discussing life skills.
The community service event will take place on Thursday, Oct. 18, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Judith Steele Elementary School, 6995 W. Eldorado Lane, in Las Vegas, and at Robert Lunt Elementary School, 2701 E. Harris Ave., in Las Vegas.
