More than 1,000 members of the Greater Las Vegas Association of REALTORS (GLVAR) are expected to gather at GLVAR’s new headquarters building on Thursday to celebrate its grand opening.
GLVAR will celebrate the grand opening of its new building in the southwest part of Las Vegas with a brief ceremony and remarks from leaders of the association. The completion of the multimillion-dollar facility with 40,000 square feet of space is a milestone for GLVAR, which recently moved into the building from its old and smaller location on East Sahara Avenue. GLVAR President Chris Bishop said the new building represents “a major investment” for GLVAR that will serve the association and its members well for years to come. The two-story facility on 4.25 acres features about 380 parking spaces, a patio and balcony with views of the Las Vegas Strip, high-tech classrooms large enough to seat 300 members and comfortable areas for members to gather and catch up on work.
Thursday, Oct. 11, from 4 to 7 p.m., with a ribbon-cutting ceremony starting at 4 p.m.
The GLVAR building is at 6360 S. Rainbow Blvd., just north of the 215 Beltway in the southwest part of Las Vegas.
