Reno – Bob Francl, EVP, regional president at First Independent Bank has joined the Nevada State Development Corporation (NSDC) Board of Directors.
Francl’s term officially began June of 2018. He joins nine other NSDC board members statewide who help guide the organization as it works to facilitate growth of the state’s small and medium-sized businesses through SBA lending solutions, as well as business advocacy services.
“I look forward to working with my fellow NSDC board members helping to ensure that Nevada business owners have access to the funding that allows them to grow their companies,” said Bob Francl, EVP, regional president, First Independent Bank. “Our community and ultimately our state benefits from the increased economic development and jobs which are a result of these loans.”
The NSDC is a nonprofit organization authorized by the Small Business Administration (SBA) to underwrite, process, fund and service loans through the 504 SBA Loan Program. NSDC can provide small and medium-sized businesses with favorable loan terms including low down payments, low rates of interest and longer repayment terms than conventional loans. This allows business owners to keep more working capital in their businesses while financing the purchase of commercial real estate or long-term equipment.
The NSDC is Nevada’s only statewide Certified Development Company with Premier Certified Lender status in Nevada.
