Las Vegas – Two physical therapy assistants have joined the ranks at Advanced Spine and Posture in Las Vegas. Stephanie Winterroth and Destinae “Nae” Graham are both Las Vegas natives. Stephanie became a team member in Fall 2017, and Nae joined the team this past April.
Stephanie Winterroth received her Bachelors of Natural Sciences degree from Pensacola Christian College in 2014. She returned home to Las Vegas where she started her healthcare career as a personal trainer. Stephanie realized that she most enjoyed working with post-physical therapy patients by helping them adapt, learn ways to progress and reach their physical goals. That’s why she went back to college to broaden her knowledge and skills. After graduating from Pima with her Occupational Associates degree, Stephanie was hired by Advanced Spine and Posture to which she has brought her personal training principals with her into physical therapy, striving to provide encouragement and motivation to each of her patients. Her genuine desire is to see every person she works with leave not only with less pain, but more knowledge, strength, and confidence.
Nae, as she prefers to be called, was born and raised in Las Vegas, where she discovered her dedicated passion for health, wellness, and quality of life.
“Las Vegas isn’t an easy city to grow up in,” says Nae. “People here are exposed to a completely different level of access to prescription medication abuse from sellers and a horrifying abundance of illegal and unsafe drugs. I watched drugs tear apart my family, and I have received the heartbreaking news that one of my cousins had overdosed and died. That’s what motivated me to choose something that could help and offer more than addictive medication piling up and a lifetime of needing more.”
Nae attended Pima Medical Institute-Las Vegas and requested placement with Advanced Spine and Posture, making it her professional home.
