LAS VEGAS – Cox Las Vegas announced that NPR One is now available for Contour customers, providing seamless access to audio content choices right alongside TV programming, On Demand content, DVR recordings and more. Cox Contour customers can use their voice remote to launch and listen to NPR One audio directly from their television sets, with no secondary device or need to switch inputs. The NPR app is the latest addition to a series of apps accessible via the Contour platform, including Netflix, YouTube, YouTube Kids and iHeartRadio.
Similar to Contour’s other integrated apps, Cox customers can simply speak their request into the Contour voice remote control to launch NPR One. Just say “NPR,” “NPR One,” “NPR app,” “Launch NPR app,” or “National Public Radio” using the voice remote to launch the apps or launch them from the “Apps” section of the Contour guide.
“Contour has become one of the most innovative platforms in cable,” said Juergen Barbusca, manager of communications at Cox Las Vegas. “With the addition of NPR One, we’re making it incredibly easy for our customers to access everything they love about NPR including State of Nevada on KNPR, This American Life and the TED Radio Hour.”
NPR One connects listeners to a stream of award-winning audio programming that includes State of Nevada on KNPR, KNPR Features, local news, national news radio, popular stories and podcasts.
To access NPR One on Cox Contour, customers simply need a compatible Contour receiver and Cox High Speed Internet Service. For more information click here.
