Las Vegas – Las Vegas chiropractic physician Dr. Jason Jaeger has just returned from Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, where, for the second time, he taught a chiropractic seminar on Chiropractic BioPhysics. He did so as part of Dr. Deed Harrison’s group, which includes Dr. Harrison, Dr. Jaeger, and Dr. Joe Ferentelli. The doctors were at the H+ Hospital in Cabo specifically for the seminar entitled Drop Table Adjusting.
The drop table adjustment utilizes a chiropractic adjustment table, which has sections that can be raised and then dropped down with the weight of the patient on the table. This system uses the spine’s inherent design to move the joints of the spine in the direction that will improve its motion without the patient feeling any discomfort from the adjustment. However, the method that the Chiropractic BioPhysics doctors were teaching is the Chiropractic Mirror Image technique, which goes farther than the classic drop table motion in order to help repair the alignment of the patient’s spine instead of temporarily treating the symptom.
Dr. Jaeger explains the Chiropractic Mirror Image technique difference like this:
“If an overweight person is trying to lose weight, that person needs to reduce the number of calories they are eating by more than the amount needed to maintain a normal weight. Such a reduction would be considered a mirror image opposite through diet. The same goes for chiropractic. In order to repair a subluxation of the spine rather than just treat the symptom, the Chiropractic Mirror Image therapy must go beyond proper spinal alignment to the opposite position of the problem in order to normalize the spine. Scientific research backs up the veracity of Chiropractic BioPhysics Mirror Image, and the technique is now being taught as an advanced diplomate through the International Chiropractors Association.”
American born chiropractic physician Dr. Corado Greene, who has a clinic at the H+ Hospital, hosted the two-day event that ran from May 25th through May 26th. Dr. Greene was invited to set up his clinic by the hospital’s neurosurgical team.
“We were very happy to be invited a second time to the H+ Hospital in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and we were especially pleased to have CBP physicians, the H+ Hospital’s neurosurgeon, and physical therapists attend our seminar,” said Dr. Jaeger.
The doctors say that the entire trip was very productive and that they thoroughly enjoyed teaching CBP chiropractic methods at clinical and educational levels in Mexico.
