LAS VEGAS – Americana Holdings, the largest independently owned Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices franchise, is ranked No. 32 on the newly released Swanepoel Mega 1000, a list of the largest real estate brokerages in the U.S., by sales volume. The Swanepoel Mega 1000 list has been released annually for the past 13 years. The company, which operates Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Nevada Properties, Arizona Properties and California Properties, completed over $5.1 billion in real estate sales in 2017.
All three Americana Holdings firms have recently implemented new global marketing and sales initiatives that president/COO Gordon Miles attributes to its record-breaking sales. “We made a significant investment in big data, and have gained truly stellar intelligence about the demand that exists for every one of our listings,” he said. “The fact we can get a complete picture of buyer activity from many different sources provides a significant advantage in the marketplace.”
The company also recently announced an expansion of its partnership with Zillow’s Instant Offers program. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Nevada Properties is now an Instant Offers partner in the Las Vegas market. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Arizona Properties piloted the program in Phoenix last year. Zillow’s Instant Offers connects homeowners to a comparative analysis from local Zillow Premier Agents, along with an offer from Zillow to purchase their properties.
