Henderson’s newest Kitchen Social will offer American twisted tastes, talents and design elements in a dining treasure sure to ignite your senses this summer
HENDERSON – The valley’s newest dining hotspot celebrates eclectic American cuisine with regional influences in an incredibly social and expressive experience.
From local celebrated chef Antonio Nunez and celebrity chef Scott Commings, the Stove features multi-dimensional design dining experience set to open this summer for a 7-day brunch breakfast & lunch. The spacious second story venue presents distinct, one-of-a-kind dining experiences from a Coffee Chill Room, fun Dining Room and mad hatter styled Twisted Tea Room offering a twist to service with the Gent’s Tea experience in a setting of breathtaking views which overlooks the valley.
The Stove’s main dining room has an interactive scene to tempt your eyes upon arrival. City and mountain views on one side and a full exhibition kitchen featuring a sustainable indoor garden. The main interior space is made to feel like an indoor patio with floor to ceiling windows and indoor foliage. A muffin bar lines the middle of the restaurant for “grab and go” service in the comfort of the Coffee Chill Room which grants a country hip vibe. Live edge tables, floral wall decor, and interesting couches to get work done, conversate with friends or just get away.
The unexpected Twisted Tea Room also has a unique feel with vintage 1950’s. Bone tea china mismatched sets are perfectly suited for the queen’s mad hatter ball. Gold tables, and a loose-leaf counter where servers assemble your tea and present small bites of pastries or canapes are available only in this designated dining experience. Access to a great outdoor patio for al fresco dining with sweeping views of the valley plus access to a Selfie Engagement Parlor captures your champagne popping moments. Reservations will be required for any party size and advanced reservations are highly recommended. A dress “suggestion” of anything stylish goes except “flip flops” is appreciated.
The Kitchen Social setting perfectly suited as the edgiest culinary spot to make any day of the week and every weekend a celebration with friends, a power lunch, hip happy hour or intimate dinner. An incredible private dining room can host up to 45 guests seated for dining or for special events with capacity up to 75 guests cocktail style reception, perfect for evening private events and parties.
Chef Antonio Nunez, Chef Scott Commings and General Contractor, Steve Grodkiewicz are elated to bring to fruition this original concept.
“The Stove is a restaurant for family, friends and new beginnings. A place for families to enjoy good food and conversation. The meeting place of new friends where the eye meets memories of items that draw nostalgic feelings, with items of calming colors and quaint home town feel. Together, we’ve drawn on our culinary inspirations from our childhood to present day inspired dishes,” said Chef Antonio Nunez.
Together, Chef Antonio and Chef Scott present their interpretations of American small afternoon eats, sweet and savory entrees and soon to be local favorites with harvested ingredients from their custom indoor garden wall, an 8 ft. wall which will produce up to 900 leaf greens and herbs: A vegan menu featuring The Benedict Arnold and vegan hollandaise; Vegan Burrito with black beans, avocado, vegan chicken, greens, cheese, cilantro rice; Unicorn Burger which is a plant-based burger patty, gluten free bun, and (almost) cheese; The meat lovers side of the menu features Muffalata, original Benedicts, savory and sweet Waffles, traditional breakfast plates with Smoked Eggs, Pecan Pie Pancakes, Breakfast Salads and The Mexican Scottish Egg to name a few. Weekend brunch aficionados will fall for the Foie and Cherries with amaretto French toast, red wine-soaked cherries and toasted almonds; or Birthday Pancakes featuring vanilla cream, strawberries, sprinkles, powder sugar, whip cream and sparkles. Another sure fan favorite will be Suckling Pig with biscuits, poached eggs, brown butter hollandaise, house barbecue sauce and fried jalapeno chips. Brunch is not Brunch without specialty coffees, teas, or specialty drinks with house made Sake Style Bloody Mary’s, Sake Gin Fizz made with house juniper infused sake or Champagne with infused house made purees. Bottomless champagne is $20 per person and all you can drink flavored bubbles are $17 per person.
Shareable bites are served throughout the day in the Twisted Tea Room including Charcuterie and Cheese with 2 cured meats and 2 cheeses, fresh fruit, jam, corchions, and grilled bread; or A Caviar Toast featuring caviar, country bread, basted egg, macerated onions and crème fraiche.
