Reno – Two accomplished RE/MAX Realty Affiliates (RRA) agents, Kris Layman and Tony Lyerly, are celebrating milestone anniversaries with the high-producing RE/MAX office this year. The month of May marks Layman’s twentieth and Lyerly’s tenth years as RE/MAX agents.
“RRA is so fortunate to have these two very dedicated, hard-working and professional agents,” said Amy Keith Lessinger, broker/owner, RRA Reno office. “Both Kris and Tony exemplify the RE/MAX philosophy and I’m so honored to have them as friends and colleagues.”
Layman started her impressive 20-year career as a RE/MAX agent in 1998 before joining RRA in 2006. Layman grew up around the RE/MAX family since her mother was also a RE/MAX agent, which inspired her to become an agent herself. Throughout her career, Layman has built a strong foundation for her loyal clients who appreciate her work ethic.
“I enjoy that it’s a fast-moving environment and that no two days are the same as an RRA agent,” Layman said. “I look at my job as being a project manager and I like having the ability to work with many different kinds of people.”
Layman is passionate about real estate and has enjoyed the opportunity to be a part of the RE/MAX community and wants to keep serving her clients from the past two decades for many more years to come.
“I appreciate the opportunity to have had a career with one company that is so solid and reputable,” Layman said. “It’s exciting to think that I could very well be with RE/MAX for many more decades.”
Lyerly’s 30-year real estate career began in Texas, prior to his move to Reno. In 2008, he decided to join the RRA team and has been passionate about calling it his home since. Throughout his time as an RE/MAX agent, Lyerly has been able to take advantage of the many educational opportunities that RRA supports for its agents.
“I’ve had a lot of fun working as an agent with RRA and have enjoyed the educational opportunities,” said Lyerly. “They provide you with anything you need to become more successful. Amy (Keith Lessinger) is the best broker I have ever had. She is very understanding and helpful.”
Lyerly’s success as an RRA agent comes from his passion of working with his diverse group of clients. He approaches all of his clients in a professional manner and makes sure to always put them first when managing their real estate needs, which he hopes to continue into his future with RRA.
“I really like working with people,” said Lyerly. “Everyone brings a different and interesting perspective. My clients expose me to the different ways that people do things and that’s part of what makes working as an RRA agent one of the most exciting careers.”
