
LAS VEGAS – Nevada State Bank is pleased to announce that several executives have earned the title of senior vice president.
Megan Comfort has been promoted to senior vice president, small business manager. Comfort was promoted to SBA, small business sales manager in 2016 to manage the customer experience for small businesses in southern Nevada. Under her leadership, Nevada State Bank was named the top statewide lender by number of loans for SBA lending for fiscal year 2017. Comfort is pursuing a finance degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and will graduate in May 2018.
Dinesh Lachhwani has been promoted to senior vice president, corporate banking underwriter manager. Lachhwani joined the bank in January 2010 as an underwriter for corporate banking. He was promoted to portfolio risk officer and then in 2016, to his current role managing a team of underwriters. His leadership has contributed tremendously to the production of new corporate business. Lachhwani holds an MBA and is currently attending the University of Washington Pacific Coast Banking School, graduating in September 2019.
Vanessa Teeter has been promoted to senior vice president, corporate banking sales manager. Teeter is responsible for managing and working with southern corporate relationship managers and partners to drive revenue growth through development of new business opportunities, as well as solidifying existing client relationships. She began her career with Nevada State Bank in 2004 as a financial service supervisor trainee. She transitioned to corporate banking in 2005, and became a relationship manager and vice president in 2012. She holds an MBA and a bachelor’s degree in psychology, and is a graduate of the University of Washington Pacific Coast Banking School.
Jennifer Turner has been promoted to senior vice president, business banking sales manager. Turner uses her 18 years of banking experience to manage a team of 11 business banking officers. Promoted to retail business banking sales manager in 2015, she has led her team to improve loan production from $6.5 million in 2015 to $21.6 million in 2017. She volunteers regularly to teach financial literacy through the bank’s community partners and is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
