Reno, Nev. – November 28, 2017 – First Independent Bank is proud to announce the addition of Pedro Azevedo to the business banking team as vice president, senior real estate loan officer.
This is a return to Northern Nevada for Mr. Azevedo, who previously spent six years in the Reno area as a senior commercial underwriter and commercial relationship manager. Prior to joining First Independent Bank in October of 2017, Azevedo worked in Texas as a senior commercial loan officer.
Azevedo will assist in managing and growing First Independent Bank’s commercial real estate loan portfolio while working with existing and new clients. With a combined 13 years working in the financial industry, Azevedo has particular experience with credit analysis, underwriting, and commercial loans.

Azevedo received a Bachelor of Commerce — Honors Business Administration degree from the University of Windsor in Ontario, Canada.
