Smith’s Food & Drug Stores is preparing to make grocery shopping even more convenient for customers. Starting September 13, Smith’s will offer home delivery service at select locations. In honor of the launch, for every new ClickList home delivery order made from now through the 30th, Smith’s will donate one meal to Three Square Food Bank.
“Smith’s ClickList store pickup has been a huge hit with our customers for its convenience and now the home delivery service option brings that convenience factor to a whole new level,” said Aubriana Martindale, Division Corporate Affairs Manager for Smith’s. “In addition, we will celebrate this new service by donating meals to Three Square, which aligns with our Zero Hunger Zero Waste initiative aimed at ending hunger in our shared communities.”
Utilizing Smith’s online grocery ordering service, ClickList, which offers more than 40,000 items from a desktop or mobile devices, customers may now also choose home delivery by PigeonShip as an option to curbside store pickup. PigeonShip is a highly efficient delivery service, focusing on quality control and customer satisfaction, but with enormous flexibility and reach to accommodate consumer demands. The company is a crowd-sourced local pick-up and delivery service, which connects local commuters with local-items needing to be delivered along with their already existing route.

How does home grocery delivery work? A customer goes to smithsfoodanddrug.com/ClickList and selects grocery items to build their shopping cart. Once the customer has completed their online shopping list, they choose a convenient home delivery time. Customers may use the same day pick-up at the store or choose the home delivery option with the same four-hour window. Home delivery is $11.95 for each trip, with no minimum or maximum order required. The customer will track their groceries en-route through an app or email link and will know the precise time the order will arrive. The driver will then carry the groceries to the door.
