The Nevada Association of Employers (NAE) is pleased to welcome human resources leader Jeanne McMillian Abraham to its board of directors.
“Jeanne is a pioneer in the industry, and we’re thrilled to have her join NAE’s board of directors,” said Thoran Towler, NAE chief executive officer. “As we continue to expand our membership and services in Southern Nevada, her knowledge and expertise will help us provide the support and quality services that our members need to grow and manage their businesses.”
Abraham currently leads the human resources team for Williams-Sonoma, Inc. at its Las Vegas customer care center. She previously served as the human resources director for Nikkiso Cryo, Inc., and was with AIG subsidiary International Lease Finance Corporation in Los Angeles for more than 13 years. She has provided independent consulting for several companies, including Zeevo Group. In addition to a strong human resources background, her expertise includes global mobility and international human resources, process improvement and employee relations.
She earned a degree in psychology from the University of Washington and a Human Resources Management Certification from UCLA. She holds both her Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and Strategic Human Resources Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certifications and also serves on the board of Tiny Feet Corporation, which is a holding company for an event planning firm.
