LAS VEGAS – Bill Paredes, Executive Vice President, Corporate Banking Manager at Bank of Nevada is among the successful graduates of Leadership Las Vegas, Class of 2017. Paredes was among 49 students who completed the program.
Leadership Las Vegas is a community leadership building program in affiliation with the Las Vegas Metro Chamber of Commerce. It is designed for professionals who want to make a positive impact on the community.
Paredes is honored to have been part of this year’s class. “This was a tremendous opportunity to interact with other successful people from the business community, academia and state and local government to learn more about the inter-workings of our community and its major institutions, including law enforcement, military, health care and education, ” said Paredes. “Leadership Las Vegas offered me the ability to better understand how these institutions operate within our community and the important services they provide.”
Paredes has been in the banking industry for more than thirty years and has been with Bank of Nevada since 2006. He’s held a number of important positions during his career including Corporate Banking Team Leader, Chief Lending Officer, and Executive Vice President. Paredes has a bachelor of science degree in Finance from the University of Texas at Dallas and an M.B.A. from the University of North Texas.
