WHAT: The Meadows Mall will host the third of four Cox Back to School Fairs for the 2017-18 school year. The first day of school is August 14.
Presented by K-12 in Nevada and AAA, there will be 60 booths providing info and resources with educational, health and family-serving community agencies. Nearly 20 booths from CCSD with representatives from food service, bus transportation, zoning, police, human resources and more.
Learn about Connect2Compete, an initiative offering Cox internet (up to 10 Mbps) and wifi for $9.95/month to families with at least one K-12 child on the National School Lunch Program, SNAP, TANF or Public Housing.
No-cost school required immunizations will be available from Anthem Hills Pediatrics at the Cox Back to School Fair on a first come, first served basis for uninsured and Medicaid eligible children ages 4 – 18 from 10 am – 2 pm. Immunizations will also be available at the Fair from Walmart for children ages 8-18 from 10 am – 4 pm. Some private insurance plans accepted. Bring your child’s immunization record and insurance card.

WHY: Now in their 10th year, the annual Cox Back to School Fairs are the longest running, most visible school-readiness event in Southern Nevada. The Cox Back to School Fairs are a one-stop-shop with resources and information focused on getting kids and families geared-up for school.
