RENO – As part of a statewide school supply drive, local REALTORS dropped off donations Tuesday at the Donald W. Reynolds facility of the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows at 2680 E. Ninth St. in Reno.
The donation drive was organized by the Nevada Association of REALTORS (NVAR) and its 2017 class of LeadershipNVAR, the association’s signature program for personal and professional growth. As part of this year’s LeadershipNVAR class project, REALTORS donated and collected more than $20,000 in school supplies at designated locations around the state.
Although the school year has begun, REALTORS recognize that many students still don’t have everything they need. Boys & Girls Clubs serve as a home away from home for nearly 4 million kids each year, including thousands of children in need here in Nevada.
