LAS VEGAS – A new school year marks an exciting time for students, but it also can be an expensive time for parents when it comes to purchasing school supplies. To help ease the process of school supply shopping, Las Vegas-based IT company NetEffect has partnered with Southern Nevada Children First to get students stocked up on everything they need to begin the new year.
NetEffect is accepting school supplies from the public now through Wednesday, Aug. 9 at 5575 S. Durango Dr. #110, Las Vegas, NV, 89113. Hours of operation are Monday thru Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. The company’s team members will drop off the donations to Southern Nevada Children First the following day.
Southern Nevada Children First is a non-profit organization created to mentor, educate, and support homeless, pregnant and parenting youth, and young adults while providing support services to their children. The organization is looking for school supplies for elementary school students age five and up to college students. Supplies needed include, but are not limited to:

• Backpacks
• Erasers
• Glue

• Colored pencils
• Hygiene products
• Binders
• Binder Dividers
• College- and wide-ruled notebooks
• Folders
• Markers, crayons
• Mechanical pencils
