Tiara Flynn, president/CEO of the Las Vegas-based Sumnu Marketing, was looking for a more efficient way to help a broader range of small business owners around the world.
The company, founded by her father, Shaundell Newsome, authored the 12 steps of marketing and won countless awards, including the SBA Family Owned Business of the Year. Sumnu regularly trains business owners about marketing and small business development.
The membership-based Sumnu Solutions Zone, in development now and scheduled to be launched at the beginning of 2017, will be one of the most powerful marketing tools available online, Flynn said.
The company will announce the program and unveil the new logo for the online marketing tool from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the 12th annual Las Vegas’ Largest Mixer, September 20, 2016 at Texas Station Hotel & Casino, 2101 Texas Star Lane in Las Vegas . Event attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a contest to guess the logo, from four possibilities. Sumnu staff will give away exciting door prizes along with a drawing for first, second and third prizes. The top three winners will be drawn at 8:15 p.m.
“The Sumnu Solutions Zone is designed to educate small business owners on how to increase their brand awareness and customers , which will ultimately increase their cash flow,” Flynn said. “Many business owners we talk to are intimidated about hiring a marketing firm but need help. They are searching for information online, so we’ve developed a program to help them.”
Solutions Zone members will have access to marketing expert, Shaundell Newsome (SBA Small Business Champion of the Year in 2008) as their mentor through weekly training modules, live weekly webinars and more than 30 bonus courses. Members will also have access to a private Facebook group, access to the Solutions Zone friends and network and a group Brainstorming Blog.
Sumnu Solutions Zone members will attend “Ask Sumnu” webinar sessions and become “Sumnu Certified,” receiving a certificate upon their graduation from the program with a certified stamp to add to their credentials and company website.
Flynn said the Sumnu Solutions Zone is designed as a tool to add value to the marketing game. “Our mission is all about solving marketing problems with solutions.”
