LAS VEGAS – Nevada State Bank has promoted James Rensvold to vice president and private banking officer at The Private Bank by Nevada State Bank. In his new position, he is responsible for assisting clients with a high net worth and high income, providing them with personalized attention and a full range of financial services.
Rensvold joined Nevada State Bank in 2009 as a relationship manager in the bank’s Professional Banking Department, serving the financial needs of high-income medical and legal professionals, as well as executives. With more than 14 years of banking experience, the Las Vegas native started his banking career as a teller and eventually served as a branch manager at two local banks before moving into relationship banking.
“James is a valuable addition to The Private Bank team,” said Randy Boesch, executive vice president of The Private Bank by Nevada State Bank. “He understands the complex needs and busy schedules of wealthy individuals. As their first point of contact with the bank, he’s well-qualified to help them navigate complicated financial transactions.”
Rensvold earned a degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in business administration from UNLV. He serves as a mentor to students in Clark High School’s Academy of Finance (AOF) program, and was one of two people nationally recognized by the National Academy Foundation for his contributions to AOF.
