
LAS VEGAS – Social Security benefits continue to be an important element for most retirees, but the intricacies of when to start collecting them, and the tax implications associated with that decision, continue to be confusing to most.
On Thursday, March 17, Nevada State Bank is hosting free workshops to help Southern Nevadans make informed decisions on the benefits, as it relates to a retirement strategy. Participants will learn about the seven steps to enhancing your benefits, as well as the following:
• When to starting taking benefits
• Working in retirement
• Tax implications
• Spouse and survivor benefits
Hosted by Eileen Rendulic-Moss, wealth advisor for Nevada State Investment Services, with guest speaker Jeremey Hill, CRPC, retirement consultant, the workshops are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on March 17. Both workshops will be held at Nevada State Bank’s Conference Center at 750 E. Warm Springs Road, 1st floor, Las Vegas, Nevada 89119.
