Beats & Barrels, a whiskey and wine tasting event benefitting Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth (NPHY), will be held on Thursday, March 10 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at The Sayers Club inside the SLS Hotel & Casino, located at 2535 Las Vegas Blvd. South.
Presented by The Refined Agency, Raw Fitness and Cirrus Aviation, the event will feature an evening of Glenmorangie whiskey tastings, Rock n’ Roll Wines and chocolate pairings, cigar rolling and an open bar. DJ Silla the Thrilla will provide entertainment and Daniel Park will perform LIVE!
General admission is $39 per person. A VIP ticket package for $600 includes admission for six people and bottle service. Attendees must be at least 21 years and will have first access to Dream Flight, an exclusive event offering attendees a chance to win a private jet foodie tour held at the Atlantic Aviation Executive Terminal on May 20, also benefitting NPHY.
Proceeds from Beats & Barrels will be directed toward NPHY’s upcoming retrofit project taking place at a property adjacent to the Drop-In Center. This will serve older homeless youth, ages 21-24, becoming an outreach and Safe Place mobile crisis intervention deployment and intake center specifically for their needs. The Drop-In Center is located at 4981 Shirley Street near UNLV. The nonprofit NPHY is the most comprehensive provider of services for the more than 11,000 homeless youth in Southern Nevada.

Beats & Barrels marks the first event of a new partnership between NPHY and The Refined Agency, Raw Fitness and Cirrus Aviation.
“We are excited to welcome The Refined Agency, Raw Fitness and Cirrus Aviation to the NPHY family. Their fundraising efforts will allow us to help even more youth,” said Arash Ghafoori, executive director of NPHY. “Sadly this vulnerable population keeps growing, and we must too in order to meet their need for food, clothing, shelter, and programs allowing them to become self-sufficient. This partnership will help us expand for those needed services.”
The Refined Agency and Raw Fitness are no strangers to throwing charitable events to benefit nonprofit organizations in the community. They are the masterminds behind 2015’s Starry Night to benefit Make-a-Wish of Southern Nevada at Hyde Bellagio and Winter Dreams to benefit After School All Stars at Surrender Nightclub. They have now teamed up with Cirrus Aviation to present Beats & Barrels and the upcoming May Dream Flight event. Cirrus Aviation Services is an FAA part 135 air carrier (Great Western Air, LLC dba Cirrus Aviation Services certificate N2UA274L) and is the largest private jet charter operator in Las Vegas.
“When we first learned of the overwhelming number of homeless children here in our community and how Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth is supporting them every day, it immediately struck a chord with our team. We knew this was an organization we wanted to get involved with and support through our charitable events,” said Lin Jerome, J.D., partner of The Refined Agency.
“We know we can help raise funds for the Drop-In Center expansion, given our special events expertise and partnerships, and want to be part of making a difference in homeless kids’ lives,” said Alexandra Lourdes, Ph.D., partner of The Refined Agency.
Beats and Barrels will serve as a prequel for the May 20 event, Dream Flights, taking place at the Cirrus private hangar. Dream Flights will feature live musical performances, celebrity appearances, open bar presented by LVMH, pop-up nightclub, and much more. Each attendee also will be entered to win private jet foodie trip of a lifetime. More information will be announced soon.
