LAS VEGAS – PT’s Entertainment Group (PTEG), a business segment of Golden Entertainment, Inc. (NASDAQ:GDEN) announced that its newest concept, PT’s Brewing Company, will host its grand opening on Friday, Feb. 26, from 6 p.m. to midnight. Guests can sample complimentary passed appetizers and beer, in addition to $4 and $5 PT’s Brewing Company beer specials.
Located at 3101 N. Tenaya Way, the brewery will serve a full menu, in addition to several of its own craft beers on tap, along with other featured local craft and domestic beers.
As announced in December, award-winning brewmaster Dave Otto has brought his 18 years of industry experience to PT’s Entertainment Group. As brewmaster for PT’s Brewing Company, Otto will unveil six signature house brews, in addition to a seasonal saison, a broad style from Belgium.
“It’s been an exciting few months preparing for this moment,” Otto said. “Golden Entertainment has given me an incredible opportunity to start something from scratch. I’m eager to share a new type of brewery concept with our guests in Las Vegas.”
Otto’s signature brews include: Horizon Ale, a crisp refreshing cream ale brewed with light malts and a touch of American hops; Sahara Pale Ale, a classic American-style pale ale, generously hopped with notes of pine, citrus and stone fruit; Sunset Wit, a new take on a Belgian-style white ale brewed with coriander and grapefruit zest for a fresh citrus kick; Sean Patrick’s Irish Red, a smooth, lightly hopped Irish-style red ale with hints of toasted malts and caramel; Boulder Stout, a nitro poured Irish-style stout with a creamy mouth feel and notes of coffee and cocoa; and a Hualapai IPA, an assertively hopped West Coast-style IPA brewed with just enough malt to let the hops shine through. Otto’s winter/spring seasonal brewed saison is made with lemon grass and thyme, dry-hopped with Citra hops and fermented with a classic saison yeast.
The food menu at PT’s Brewing Company includes main dishes, such as a Brew House burger, a Kobe beef burger with peppered bacon, Wisconsin-aged cheddar cheese, sautéed mushrooms, white truffle oil and fries. It also features stir-fried quinoa with chicken and peas; pork ‘n’ beans, braised pork shoulder with country beans; and dirty paella, with dirty rice, shrimp, calamari and braised pork. Shared plates include Brew Brussels, with roasted Brussels sprouts, peppered bacon and beer grain mustard; crispy pork belly, made with bourbon barbecue sauce; shrimp and grits, made with garlic shrimp and creamy grits; and giant Bavarian pretzels with beer cheese.
Sandwiches include country fried chicken, an ultimate grilled cheese, barbecue pulled pork, a New Yorker and an A.B.L.T. made with avocado, bacon, lettuce and tomato and mayonnaise on Italian bread. Soups, salads, tavern apps, pizzas and breakfast fare round out the menu (see full menu attached).
In addition to the regular menu, seasonal specials inspired by the chef’s weekly forays to the local farmer’s markets will be featured each day.
“The menu at PT’s Brewing Company takes our culinary vision to the next level,” said Joe Romano, corporate vice president of food & beverage for Golden Entertainment. “In crafting the menu, we’ve kept our signature brews in mind, either using them in dishes, or understanding which flavors to pair with Dave’s creations. You can say we’ve reinterpreted the standard brewpub fare to present a new palate for the genre.”
