SPARKS – Nevada State Bank has named Becky Halverson assistant vice president, branch manager of its Sparks branch, where she will oversee branch staff, client services and banking operations.
Halverson begin her banking career in 2005 and held several banking positions at other financial institutions before joining Nevada State Bank in 2011 as a financial service supervisor. She was subsequently promoted to assistant manager of the Sparks branch in 2012.
“Becky is a great asset to the northern Nevada retail leadership team,” said Debby Herman, senior vice president and northern Nevada region manager for Nevada State Bank. “Her background coupled with her growth at Nevada State Bank has enabled her to excel in building client relationships while driving results for the company and its clients.”
A strong supporter of the community, Halverson leads the bank’s financial literacy program in northern Nevada. She also supports Food Bank of Northern Nevada, Junior Achievement, Northern Nevada Children’s Cancer Foundation and Reno Rodeo Foundation.
