LAS VEGAS – Park Place Infiniti is proud to announce that it will again be the official “Park Place” sponsor of The Adoption Exchange’s upcoming “Monopoly Tournament” fundraiser from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10, at the Palace Station Hotel and Casino, 2411 W. Sahara Ave.
The Adoption Exchange, a nonprofit organization, serves as the connection between children who wait in foster care and families who adopt. The Monopoly event will help the charity find safe, loving families for the 1,100 Nevada children in foster homes waiting to be adopted.
“As a native of Las Vegas, I feel an obligation to help the children in our community succeed, starting with the most basic necessity – a loving family,” Park Place Infiniti General Manager Joe Tortomasi said. “Park Place Infiniti has a long history of supporting children’s charities and we’re proud to continue supporting The Adoption Exchange and the good work they do.”
Park Place Infiniti’s previous contributions helped 77 children waiting in foster homes to unite with their adoptive families.
The Adoption Exchange’s Monopoly event, honoring Dr. Tony and Renee Marlon of the Tony and Renee Marlon Charitable Foundation, will include a silent auction, cocktail reception, dinner, and a one-hour Monopoly tournament with prizes for first, second and third place. Dave Courvoisier of Channel 8/KLAS TV will emcee this fundraising event. For ticket information, call 702-436-6335, or visit www.adoptex.org/monopoly.

About The Adoption Exchange
The Adoption Exchange is reinventing the adoption process — creating a world where every waiting child finds a permanent family. Through rigorous collaboration with state, federal and other relevant agencies, we focus on innovative child-specific strategies that provide vibrant pre- and post-adoption services that speed waiting children to caring and loving relationships that last. The lifetime societal costs for every youth who leaves the foster care system without a permanent family is more than $300,000. Since its inception, the organization has helped place more than 8,000 children — saving society more than $2.4 billion. Headquartered in Aurora, CO, with branch offices in Las Vegas, NV; Albuquerque, NM; Salt Lake City, UT; and St. Louis, MO, The Adoption Exchange has found permanent homes for over 8,000 children. The Nevada Office of The Adoption Exchange uses outreach, education, and recruitment to find permanent and loving adoptive families for children waiting in Nevada’s foster care system.”
