
RENO – The Nevada Association of REALTORS (NVAR) named longtime Reno REALTOR Kevin Sigstad as its 2015 Nevada REALTOR of the Year for his continued service to the statewide association, the real estate profession and his community.
National Association of REALTORS (NAR) First Vice President Elizabeth Mendenhall presented the award to Sigstad while attending NVAR’s recent board meeting in Reno.
Sigstad has served as NVAR’s 2015 president after being president-elect in 2014. He is also a past president of the Reno-Sparks Association of REALTORS (RSAR) and has volunteered on numerous NVAR and RSAR committees.
A graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno, Sigstad is president of RE/MAX Premier Properties in Reno. His professional affiliations and designations include being a Certified Commercial Investment Member, or CCIM, and a Certified Property Manager, or CPM.
Since 1999, he has volunteered his time and talents as a member of the board of directors of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northern Nevada.
