LAS VEGAS – Nevada State Bank, through a partnership with the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco, awarded a $20,000 AHEAD grant to Golden Rainbow of Nevada, Inc. Nevada State Bank will administer the funds for the organization.
Golden Rainbow will use the grant funds to make improvements to its donated office space in order to better serve those who are HIV/AIDS infected or affected. The organization provides affordable and comfortable housing and direct financial assistance to men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS in southern Nevada. The organization, founded by members of the entertainment industry, is also dedicated to supporting HIV/AIDS-related education.

The Access to Housing and Economic Assistance for Development (AHEAD) Program grants are made to FHLBank San Francisco member financial institutions working with local community groups to support services and programs that benefit low- and moderate-income communities.
